Although this is something Stella does on a daily basis, most of the time...don't let the calmness of the video fool you.... today was a crazy day. From Stella waking up at 6:30, which she does most days now, to the mysterious alarm going off in her room from her clock, that we never set, to me tracking mud on the carpet...then finding Stella in sawyer's crib with him in it! aaahh!! Good thing I already had supper cooked and we were eating leftovers, because I'm not sure I would've accomplished a meal on a day like today.
Kids like to have jobs...when I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten, each student had a job everyday. If they made bad choices, they lost their job, and just so you know, that was HUGE!! So, I try to give Stella small jobs...this just so happens to be one that helps me out too...always a positive! ;)
make it easy: who will be eating supper with us tonight? (not that this matters, or that they answer correctly...it just gets their little minds thinking)
make it hard: how many napkins do you need? how many forks? if grandma and grandpa were eating with us, then, how many would we need?
