Becoming a praying parent

Taken from "Power of a Praying Parent"

"We can't be everywhere. But God can. We can't see everything. But God can. We can't know everything. But God can. No matter the age of our children releasing them into God's hands is a sign of our faith and trust in Him and is the first step to making a difference in their lives."

Here's a part of the prayer that I liked the most:
"...I commit myself to pray for everything concerning him/her that I can think of, or that You put upon my heart. Teach me to pray and guide me in what I pray about....may I pray Your will be done for him/her, and not my own. Thank you, Lord, for this precious gift of this child. You word says every good gift comes from You...I trust my child to You and release him/her into Your hands. Amen."

Matthew 7:11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!"
