kindness

A while back I had the opportunity to help write the pacing guide for the daycare at the church we were attending. I recently got it out to get some ideas of what I wanted to do with Stella in the fall...haven't quite decided on preschool yet...we're thinking maybe after her third b-day. Anyway...I had included for each month, a different character trait. I decided to go ahead and try to make them into our everyday lives, beginning with kindness. In first grade, we called certain words "sparkly words", so I decided to go with that, it makes me happy to think of sparkly things.

Here we are decorating our sign to go on the fridge... The final product! Now, as I go to the fridge 1,387 times in a day, I'll be reminded to show kindness and model for Stella what this looks like everyday....Lord, help me :)
