It's been a while since I've updated this blog...not sure how many read, but I enjoy this little outlet of mine...hope you do too :) Life is busy, but we're so blessed.
The next chapter of "the power of a praying parent" discusses how/why to pray protection over our family. The last paragraph says this: "Things happen when we pray that will not happen when we don't. What might happen, or might not happen, to our children if we don't pray today? Let's not wait to find out. Let's get on our knees now."
A portion of the prayer: "Hide her (him) from any kind of evil influences that would come against her (him). Thank you for your promise of protection. Help him (her) to walk in your ways of obedience to Your will...Keep her(him) safe in all she (he) does and wherever she (he) goes."
Isaiah 43:2 - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, not will the flame scorch you. "
