so easy, it's sad

Pinterest is the new thing and yes, I'm probably a little late to the party, but it's definitely reminding me of some things I've wanted to try, and introduced A LOT of new things to me as well. A friend of mine did this with her son (Lawson) and I couldn't wait to do this "classic" activity with Stella... DYED PASTA! :)

Luckily, I had kept the washable dye coloring from my school days..this made things a lot easier.

Moving on... I saw this simple activity on Pinterest and couldn't wait to try it. All you need is a colander and some pipe cleaners. It also works great while supper is getting ready...when little hands and bodies are sometimes going a little nuts-o :)

These are both great fine motor/eye and hand coordination activities. It's not always easy for little hands to perform the way we think they should. :)
